Strokes Horizon
The space is designed to immerse the audience in a rich visual environment and to evolve the evolution of Hanzi. Merging particle fluidity into five elements that function as a medium to connect with Hanzi scripts in various styles through motion capture and hand-tracking techniques.
The project was undertaken to fuse a visual-driven, interactive, appreciating, and culture-exporting experience in a digital mixed-reality environment, including four projectors, a device for motion capture, hand-tracking and audio live tracking device.
The experience consists of all-around voice-over guidance and specific characters of storytelling for each era. The interaction ends at the third screen when they experience the audio visualisation by growing the life of a plant.
The experience inside the space ends when the voice-over finishes, with the audience lying down and a 270-degree screen-playing environment
